Bosch is rolling out a new onboard computer for 2019 eBikes models that pack many capabilities into a compact unit. From a heart price screen to a complete color, the whole lot shows that Gorilla Glass is making it specially designed for the greater formidable riders amongst you.

Meet Kiox, Bosch’s eBike pc. It’ll be displayed for the first time on Sept. 18 at the big Interbike Expo in Reno. It’s got a small and strong color show, is managed by way of a separate unit at the handlebar, and may provide the eBike rider everything from statistics on velocity to private performance, cadence, the state of the battery’s rate, and more. The 1.9″ high-decision coloration display is readable in direct daylight and dark, and the Gorilla Glass protects against scratching and damage. The included show battery offers up to 20 minutes of energy in the off-board mode and summarizes the day’s activities. The Bluetooth interface allows downloading Kiox software program updates to the onboard laptop without a cable connection. Bosch also says future capabilities connecting eBikers to the new onboard pc may be coming.

As a reminder, Bosch is a primary participant in this space, with a portfolio that levels from the drive unit, including motor and gearbox, to great batteries and a clever onboard and cycles computer that it says may be used pretty intuitively way of riders.
